# ROUND

ROUND( `number`, `[decimals]` )

Rounds a `number` based on a given number of `decimals`

### Arguments

| Argument     | Description                                                                                                                                                   |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `number`     | numeric column or value                                                                                                                                       |
| `[decimals]` | Optional, default 0: the number of decimals to which you want to round. Negative rounds to the left of the decimal point; zero rounds to the nearest integer. |

### Output

Rounded `number`

### Examples

```
ROUND(2,121.61, -1)
>> 2,120
```

```
ROUND(2,121.61)
>> 2,122
```
