# Area

An area chart is a form of line chart that forms a shaded area between the line and the x-axis.

#### Configuration Options

| Option        | Description                                                                                                          |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Mode          | For charts with multiple series plotted, this input determines which display mode should be shown. Stack or Overlay. |
| Select Series | The column from the input table to be represented in the area chart.                                                 |
